The 4th Metropolitan Assembly is intentionally structured to foster meaningful interaction among all participants—clergy, laity, and honored guests alike. Every element of the event, from breakout sessions to shared meals, is designed to encourage open dialogue in a sacred and respectful environment.
We are honored to welcome Archbishop Michel Jalakh, Secretary of the Dicastery for Eastern Catholic Churches, as our keynote speaker. He will be delivering his address on Friday evening, July 18. This will be a pivotal moment for attendees to hear directly from a close collaborator of Pope Leo XIV, offering insight into the Holy Father’s vision for the Eastern Catholic Churches.
While there is no single “open mic” session, the Assembly is designed to be deeply participatory. Throughout the event, especially during:
Breakout sessions
Roundtable discussions
Informal meetups and meals
...attendees will have numerous opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations with bishops, clergy, and fellow faithful. These moments are intentionally unstructured to allow for authentic, Spirit-led dialogue—ensuring that every voice can be heard in a setting that is both welcoming and sacred.
